The Titicaca National Reserve is located in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n Lake Titicaca has an area of 8,300 km2, 56% of which corresponds to Peru and 44% to Bolivia. Its average depth is estimated at 107 meters. Its level is irregular and increases during the austral summer.<\/p>\n <\/span>The volume of Lake Titicaca is approximately <\/span>830 km3.
